Ezekiel Ray Hudson is FIVE MONTHS OLD today. I cannot believe it has been five months already. He is turning into such a big boy. He is so happy all the time. We always get comments about how smiley he is, and how cute he is. He is getting a great little personality. Very friendly and personable. He loves to talk and make noise. And he loves when his big sister and brother play with him. Even if Mommy and Daddy don't always like HOW they play with him. He is a mover and a shaker. The only time he is still is when he is sleeping. He is somewhere over 18 lbs. He currently wears 6-9 or 6-12 month clothes (and that's in disposable diapers). We have put away the cloth diapers for now. It's too hard to learn to roll over with a pillow strapped to your butt, I think. So, once he is a little bigger, and moving a little better, we will go back to them. The last five months have been so great. God really blessed us abundantly with our little surprise. I couldn't ask for a better baby.
So, I finally got some video of Zeke rolling over. I had to help him a little bit. He wasn't quite sure what I wanted him to do. He was happy to just lay there and smile at the camera. I promise that all I did was get him over on his side. The rest of the video is me trying to get him to move some more. He likes to wiggle around when he's on his belly. He turns himself in about a quarter of a circle. And I'm pretty sure he is trying to figure out how to scoot. He pulls his knees up under him sometimes, but he doesn't get anywhere with it. Oh, and the little blackout you see? That's when the camera rolled off the pillow it was sitting on. And the puke? Yeah, that's a totally normal occurence in our house. Anyway, enjoy the show. The video is about 2 minutes long, so let it load completely before you try to watch it.
I am a homeschooling mom of four kids, Sierra (9 years old), Tyner (7 years old), Zeke (3 years old), and Emma (1-1/2 years old). I have been married to Jason for 10 years. I live in the sleepy town of Etna, CA, in beautiful Siskiyou County. I love my life as a wife, mom, daughter, sister, teacher, chef, maid, and nurse. In my spare time I love to read, knit, and run. I spend far too much time on Facebook. This blog is nothing special; just a place for me to share little pieces of my life with all of you!
