1. My favorite night time snack is tortilla chips with a dip made from sour cream and La Victoria Taco Sauce.
2. I am unsympathetic to the plight of my children. It doesn't bother me when my baby cries.
3. If I am in a room, the lights HAVE to be on. Even if there is daylight coming through the windows.
4. I'm a lazy housewife, which I hate about myself.
5. My favorite color combinations are brown/pink and brown/baby blue.
6. I only have 2 tattoos but I would love to have more.
7. I think corn tastes "round."
8. I have to have a Law&Order (original, SVU, or CI) fix at least every other day.
9. I can't walk away from a crossword puzzle without finishing it.
10. I use cloth diapers for my baby boy, and I absolutely LOVE IT!

An update, and some random pictures...
Well, things are going okay here in The Valley. We are passing some germs around, but we're all still alive. Tyner has had Fifth Disease, croup, and a cough/stuffy nose cold. Sierra has had strep throat, Fifth disease, and pink eye. Jay had a pretty bad cold. I have had mastitis, and a cold that went from extremely stuffy nose, to sore throat, to slightly stuffy nose/sore throat/cough. Even Zeker hasn't escaped. He had pink eye (which he did not get from his sister) and a bronchial infection. But, we are all on the mend.
Other than that, things are going good. The kids are doing well in school. Sierra is reading amazingly well. As far as we know, she is at a first grade level, if not higher. She is loving school, and also loving AWANA club on Wednesday nights. She is flying through her book, collecting her jewels left and right. Tyner is learning about dinosaurs in preschool, which he is thrilled about. He is still a little loopy, and has a VERY vivid imagination. Zeker is growing up WAY too fast. He is such a happy boy, smiling all the time. We have a lot of fun playing together while the big kids are at school. Jason is doing good. We had quite a bit of snow a few weeks ago, which made for some long and tiring work days for him, but he still likes his job. I'm also doing good. Feeling lazy lately, and trying to find a way to kick my butt into gear. Please keep our family in your prayers. As individuals we are doing good, but as a family unit we could really use some divine guidance. Thanks in advance for your prayers.
Anyway. I thought I'd share a few random pictures from the last few weeks. Enjoy.

Zeker wearing Tyner's dirty sunglasses.
This one was taken today, during "tummy time." He is getting so big.

"I like big butts and I cannot lie..." We realized the other day what a big booty Zeker has. This picture really doesn't do it justice.

Anyway. Hope you liked them. See you later. And I'll try not to take three weeks to post again. I always think of things to write about, but I can never find the time to sit down and type anything out. Sorry.

The best memory
Of all the great things that happened this Christmas, this is my favorite memory:

My baby boy laughed for the first time. I'm okay with the fact that it wasn't at me, 'cause it was just so damn cute! Here are a few cute pictures I took of the kids the last few days. The first two were taken before the Christmas Eve service at our church, in front of our tree. The other one was at GG & Papa's house on Christmas day.

Some random new pictures and videos!
Don't mind the blurred privates. I just had to show you my chubby boy's thighs.
Our first snow of the year. Taken Thursday. We got less than half an inch.

Here is Sierra's school picture from this year. This is actually a retake. The original was printed off-center.
Here is a video of Sierra learning to cross her eyes.

And here's what life is like at our house. Jason trying to scare everyone. And Tyner being weird.

Oh, and notice that red spot on Tyner's cheek? It's Fifth Disease, also known as Slap Cheek. It's a virus. Apparently my son caught it somewhere. And gave it to me. It comes out in adults as joint pain, specifically hands, wrists, feet, and ankles. My left thumb, right wrist, and right foot and ankle have been achy for the last few weeks. It sucks.
So, anyway. Hope you enjoyed these snapshots of life around here. Later!

Here is Sierra being man-handled by a boy in her class. This was at her Christmas program.
This is what my boy's belly looks like when he's all shlubbed over.

Marzetti
I made this dish for dinner last night called Marzetti. I got it from AllRecipes.com. It turned out pretty good. I really liked it, Jason said it was good, and the kids actually ate it in a relatively short time. It's a little tangy, from the tomato soup, but it wasn't TOO tangy. It's a pretty basic meal. No veggies or anything in it. So you would need to serve something on the side. I just cut up some carrot sticks. It makes a 9x13 pan worth. We ate about half of it, so there are some leftovers. I'm thinking it's gonna' be even better the next day.
I will type the recipe, so you don't have to click on the link to see it.
MARZETTI
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (10.7z oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 oz) can tomato soup
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 C water
1 T Worchestershire sauce
8 oz wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 C shredded Cheddar cheese
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Brown ground beef, onion, and green pepper. Drain off fat.
3. Stir in next nine ingredients (mushroom soup through the noodles).
4. Spoon into a greased 3-qt. casserole (9x13 pan).
5. Top with Cheddar cheese.
6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.

He snores like his old man...
Here is a video I took today of Zeke snoring. There isn't actually any picture (it was dark in the room), just sound. Make sure you turn up the volume so you can hear him.

Zeker Video
Here is a video I took of Zeke this morning. I was trying to get him to smile, but he wouldn't.

Well, I tried...
Okay, so my new camera came today (yeah, that's my eyebrow back there):
I had a good time taking pictures of the kids and me:

And then I shot this:
